The French Bee has been very “busy” over the last several months. With covid slowing down events a bit, we have chosen to use the time wisely to work on some house keeping. Both of us became certified wedding planners, and both graduated with flying colors. We have also enjoyed several different wedding related courses that have furthered our knowledge, which is never a bad thing.
We have completed our new web-site and we both are quite proud of it. We have spent hours looking through pictures, arguing about font choices and if bullet points are effective or not.
We also have invested time into New Bern, especially New Bern as a Wedding destination spot. We feel so fortunate to live in a town that has so many positive points. We really wanted to share with couples the advantages of having a wedding in New Bern. Being a historical town located on two beautiful rivers is a great starting point. New Bern has a vital downtown with many great restaurants, bars and shops. It offers many different lodging options from decadent bed and breakfast's to waterfront hotels.
New Bern also offers many different venues for weddings. We have the historic Tryon Palace, which offers over nine different gardens and indoor spaces to choose from, as well as converted warehouses that give you that license to create any look you can imagine or you might like one of our many stunning
waterfront venues.
The most wonderful thing is that New Bern has so many talented and unique vendors to choose from. All willing to do whatever it takes to make your wedding exceed even your grandest expectations.
The French Bee along with a collective of other vendors contacted The Heart of North Carolina Weddings and helped create a lovely article about New Bern Weddings. We all collaborated on a very extensive styled photo shoot that spanned over two days and eight locations. The magazine will hit the shelves just before Christmas and we cant wait to hear what you think about it.
