With just a week left before your wedding, we're sure that you have a mile-long list of things than need to be done that still need to checked off your list before you walk down the aisle. But permit us to introduce you to your list of what not to do.

The last 7 days before your wedding is the time to take care of all those last-minute details. Not to make drastic changes to your looks or your wedding plans

For starters, we know you've been taking amazing care of your skin during the months leading up to your wedding date. But you won't want to make any changes to your tried-and-true skincare routine in the days before your nuptials, in case of a negative complexion reaction.

NEVER, EVER consider a new hair color the week before your wedding! If there’s one day where you want to look like yourself, it’s your wedding day (trust us on this one!). You don’t want to look back in a few years (or decades) and have regrets You never know how the color could oxidize or how it will look with the color of your skin .

Never try out a new hair colorist the week of your wedding. If you decide that you want to change your color, find a good colorist as soon as you are engaged. And for goodness sake, never try to color your hair yourself.

Most colorist will recommend if you have highlights already that you book a full head about two weeks before, opposed to half of your head.

A new Hair Cut is a big No No as well. Not only will the texture and style of your hair change if you get it cut, but keep in mind something drastic may not look right with your dress, veil, or wedding day jewelry

A never tried before Spray Tan, just say NO!

Sunburn is not a good thing either

If you do get sunburn, you can try the following / But Please just don’t get sunburned

Tea has tannic acid, that can help to help soothe and cool sunburns, and catechins, good for repairing skin damage. While drinking tea is great, applying the liquid directly to your sunburn will deliver fast results. Soak several tea bags in a container of hot water and allow the tea to cool to a cool temperature. Dip a cloth into the tea and blot it all over your sunburned skin. Repeat this process as many times as you can.

Pure aloe vera is ta wonderful natural medicine for a painful sunburn since it contains compounds that reduce pain and inflammation. Just be sure to use pure aloe, either directly from the plant or purchased in natural gel form. Apply the gel generously to damp skin  and let it dry before anything else touches your skin . You'll see the best results if you continue to apply aloe vera every hour before bedtime

Apple cider vinegar is another alternative known to reduce pain and clear up several skin conditions. You can try taking a cool bath with two cups of apple cider vinegar added to the water. The solution will bring your skin's PH level back where it's supposed to be and your skin will feel cooler.

Don't wait until you have one week left to haves serious conversations with your almost spouse. If both have careers, whose job determines where you will live? How many kids do you want (if any)? Topics like these definitely need to be covered well before the wedding—preferably even before you get engaged.

The last week before your wedding is the time to just follow through with prepared plans. It is definitely not the time to make new ones. Of course, emergency situations are a given. Except for that, don’t even think of adding new tasks or making alterations to the rest of your plans. It is always best to stick with the schedule and planned ideas. This will help you and the rest of your wedding party avoid stress.

Finally remember that a wedding is not just about the details, it is also about the experience. And you want to make fond memories of this important event in your life. So, keep your expectations realistic and work towards it for best results.
